For .cz domains , changing the registrar is free of charge and is not accompanied by an immediate renewal – first, the already paid period will expire, and only then will you receive a request for payment for the renewal . For other domain extensions , when you re-register , you pay a fee according to the specific registry, which also extends your domain for 1 year . This year is added to the current expiration date , so you don't lose any paid time. How is it possible that you have such low prices for .cz domains?

In our opinion, a domain ending in .cz is the absolute foundation of every web project in the Czech Republic. That is why we register and renew it at the purchase price – without any margin or additional fees.

Since the founding of WEDOS Internet, a.s., we have believed that a domain should not be an overpriced item. Our management has even made a legally enforceable public promise that the prices of .cz domains will never increase.

If you have a .cz domain with us, you can be sure that you will never pay more for it than it actually costs.

Why is the domain price lower for the first year than in subsequent years?

We set domain prices based on the price lists set by domain registries. If the registry offers a discounted price for the first year for certain domains, while the price returns to the normal level in subsequent years, we also offer this discount to our customers.

Why can't I register a domain?

Here are the most common reasons why a domain cannot be registered:
– The domain is registered with another provider. You can recognize such a domain by the Transfer button, which you can use if the domain is yours and you can obtain its authorization password.
– The domain is already registered by someone else. You can only obtain such a domain from the current owner. VEDOS does not mediate the sale of domains or contact their owners in any way.
– VEDOS does not offer the domain extension. If you do not see the domain extension you want to register in the price list, unfortunately we cannot offer it to you at this time.
– The domain is premium. Some domains are subject to special registry rules, which usually include the price. We do not register such domains. For more information about premium domains and the reasons for their unavailability, please visit the premium domains page.
